ACTIVITIES

FallsWe cater to guests who enjoy boating, bicyling, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, wildlife, swimming, walking the beach, or just relaxing in a tropical paradise.

Beach Panorama

Just off our beach is False Caye, with coral heads and an abundance of reef fish that make for great snorkeling. Or, take a kayak to the caye and observe the abundant marine life without getting wet. Our private boat dock features a cabana for relaxing in the shade, or enjoy the sun deck.

Mako   Diving in Belize

Two miles south of our house is Seine Bight, a small Garifuna village. Following the ancient cultural traditions, the villagers are proud of their heritage and their unique "garinagu" dialect.

There are many shops (including a grocery store), restaurants and other places to make new friends between Maya Beach and Placencia.

Within easy walking distance, Maya Beach offers the visitor five excellent restaurant choices, as well as a grocery store. Many nearby gourmet restaurants even provide transportation. Rental cars are available for visitors who want to range farther afield.

Kayaking in BelizeYou'll have fun snorkeling or diving in the crystal-clear water.Bicycles and kayaks are also available. To see more of beautiful Placencia, sign up for any of the following guided tours:
